What do we process and why?
To fulfil our contract with you, we process your name, email address, author name, book title, chosen style, word count, Payhip reference and complete Word manuscript. We use payment and subscription data to verify orders, credits, refunds and cancellations. We use contact details to answer questions and fulfil legal obligations.
Who receives your data?
Payments are handled by Payhip and either Mollie or, for subscriptions, Stripe. We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare to operate the website and store manuscripts privately. Transactional emails are sent through Resend. These providers may process data outside the EEA under the safeguards in their agreements. We do not sell your data or use the manuscript for advertising.
How long do we keep your data?
A manuscript is scheduled for removal 45 days after upload and may be removed earlier after delivery. Basic order, payment and invoice records are kept for up to seven years where required by tax law. Technical email delivery records are kept with the related order or request and removed when they are no longer needed. Support messages are removed when they are no longer needed.
Security
Paid manuscripts are stored privately and can only be opened through the protected management page. Do not send special-category personal data unless it is essential to the book.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or ask us to restrict its use. Email info@stylemybook.com and include your order number. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
